Barbie's dance party helps the audience understand how Barbie lives her life. Every night she dances with all her friends, without a care in the world, until she innocently wonders out loud whether anyone thinks about death. #3 Meeting Weird Barbie
In this scene, the audience is introduced to "Weird Barbie" and a major plot device, Barbie's recent depressing mood and her "flat feet".
